Savory Plank Burgers
Plank grilling doesn't have to be fancy pants! Plain ol' burgers become something magical using with an infusion of cedar smoke. This recipe is quick and easy and sure to please.

Always prepare the planks as described in our How To section prior to grilling!!!!

INGREDIENTS:
Beef:
1-1/2 Pounds lean ground beef
1/2 Teaspoon ginger
1/2 Cup watercress or fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Lamb:
1-1/2 Pound lean ground lamb
1/2 Teaspoon fresh mint, chopped
1/2 Cup watercress or fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

STEPS:
Mix all the ingredients and form into 4 patties. Place the patties onto the preheated plank. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning the patties half way through cooking.
